“I’m not a big, fat panda. I’m THE big, fat panda!”

Remember Kungfu Panda??? Where this big clumsy panda^* Po, a crazy fan of Kungfu* was accidentally* chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy ‘‘The legend of Dragon Warrior’’ by Oogway, 'the creator of Kungfu'…..?

Po was just another ordinary panda*, working in his father’s noodle restaurant......

He had a dream*…. that someday, he is gonna be a great kungfu fighter, but THIS, was way TOO FAST for him to bear!!! He never knew kungfu at all by the time of getting selected as the Dragon Warrior!*  

There he was, simply dreaming of kungfu, and just selling noodles…. and here he finds himself studying alongside his idols!!!

The dragon scroll was the legendary scroll written by master Oogway. It contained the ultimate Kungfu secret-"the key to limitless power". 

Oogway declared that only the Dragon Warrior would be worthy enough to read it. According to legend, whoever read the Dragon scroll would be able to hear a butterfly's wing beat, to see the light in the darkest cave and would feel the universe in motion around them. 

Recall master Shifu saying,

"You are not the Dragon Warrior. You will never be the Dragon Warrior until you have learnt the secret of the Dragon Scroll." 

Po was handed over the scroll by Shifu. Po opens it up, with the utmost enthusiasm of finding the great secret of kungfu......just to see a shiny blank sheet of metal.........

On his way to help the villagers escape from Fierce Tai Lung, Po meets his dad and this dialogue follows;

                                PO'S DAD
                    Po, I think it's time I told you
                    something I should have told you a
                    long time ago...
          
                                PO
                    Okay.
          
          Dad pauses dramatically.
          
                              PO'S DAD
                    The secret ingredient of my secret
                    ingredient soup!
          
          Po feigns excitement.
          
                                PO
                    Oh.
          
                              PO'S DAD
                    C'mere! The secret ingredient is...
                    nothing!
          
                                PO
                    Huh?
          
                              PO'S DAD
                    You heard me. Nothing. There is no
                    secret ingredient!
          
                              PO
                    Wait wait....it's just plain old
                    noodle soup? You don't add some
                    kind of special sauce or somethin?
          
                              PO'S DAD
                    Don't have to. To make something
                    special, you just have to believe
                    it's special.
          
          Po looks at his father with dawning 
          realization. He picks up the Scroll.

          
          For a moment, Po stares at his reflection on the 
          scroll, then he smiles serenely. He gets it now.

          
          
                              PO
                    There is no secret ingredient...

Sooooooo, that's all I have to say about THE big fat panda, you know the rest of the story. There's nothing special about the scroll, it's all about the warrior! The scroll will just reflect back whomsoever peeps on to it..................

may it be Po,

 may it be Tai lung...

And.... needless to say, no Tai Lung can grab the "limitless power" away from Po. It's simply Po himself!
